This is one of the signboards outside the "Lovejoy" Bar in Jomtien, Pattaya (as you head down towards the beach on the Thappraya Road, opposite the Jomtien Complex). Just in case you're wondering if the 330 ml bottled beers referred to on the sign is some unknown local brew you're wrong! As of the February, 2010 the bottled beers in question are Heineken, Tiger, Singha, Leo, etc. Ooh, the glass of red or white wine at 40 baht is really good. If you spent a little time here of an evening it wouldn't exactly break the bank, would it now? The exchange rates at the moment are roughly — 1 euro (46 Baht), 1 US Dollar (33 Baht), 1 Pound Sterling (53 Baht). I really need to give up the beer . . . but just not yet!!!

Ahh yes, where else would you get an invitation to come inside like this other than in Pattaya... cheap beer, sexy ladies' — many that is — and a special Bar Fine. It would make you seriously wonder why would you want to keep on walking by on another hot night in Pattaya. The only thing that might confuse you with all these great deals being put your way is... Having a good time in Pattaya encompasses everyone and everything, and for this mutt it was time to call it a day on Beach Road after a heavy night on the town!

On a recent visit to the Big C Festival Centre we enjoyed a fantastic exhibition of new high-tec hybrid vehicles for those with a few extra dollars to spare. Passers-by paid great attention to the stunning models at every vantage point... and the motors looked really good too!
