Stolen Credit Card (Prevention tips)

There has been an endless cases of stolen credit cards . Unknowingly, money sacked off your ATM.

There are few instructions one must always keep in mind. Incase, you lose your credit card quickly report and block it otherwise, in no time your house will be storming in with bills.

• Visa card - 0 2252 2212

Banks have started taking a lot of precautions when a credit card is used for purchasing something highly pricey or is being used frequently. But, still there are people who can maliciously nick every penny out of your card.

Meanwhile, do not give out your credit card to your girlfriend/boyfriend no matter how much you love or trust him/her. Perhaps, keep it in a place of which only you are aware of. Due to some illegal sources in the country he/she can make a duplicate one and keep the original to himself/herself. And, before you even realize you will be behind the bars awestruck for using a fake credit card.

Even with Atm cards you need to take a lot of precautions.

• Make sure no one is looking when you type in the pin number. Specially, when your boyfriend/girlfriend is standing right next to you. Even with his/her sun glasses on, he/she can see right through them. Beware, otherwise he/she will withdraw all your money and vanish away leaving you with nothing. “No money No honey”

Do not trust anyone and definitely not here in Pattaya. It’s deeply amusing despite of hearing disastrous stories of Pattaya. People still repeat the same mistakes.

I've been using the same ATM machine for 4 years now in Pattaya without any trouble what so ever, it's the one on Nakula Road outside the Woodlands Hotel, it's part of the small bank there. A good tip is to get your money during the day take your card back to the hotel and put it in the safe, never carry it around with you, Never take too much ouy with you, Pattaya is very cheap, always keep your cards, money, passport and all other valuables in the safe at your hotel, change money in the hotel, your only talking a few bahts difference, and it's safe and convenient, get yourself a good suitcase with a combination lock, if you take a girl back wait until she goes in the bathroom, keep enough to pay her in the morning and put the rest of your money along with your mobile phone in the case and lock it, you never know. it just takes a bit of common sense and you'll be fine. Once while vacation in Phuket, (ya I know it's not Pataya just listen) I went to an ATM to get money out. No sooner did the ATM take my card it suddenly poped up an error message on the screen. The next day I went to talk to money exchange place which the ATM was built on to. They didn't have it eathior. I went to the tourest police and they said a girl had tuned it in early that morning. No money was missing and no attempts to use it were made. My story is undoubtabley lucky and rear but still someone can always be a good someraton. Sure wish I could find that girl.
