Thepprasit Market - Shopping in Pattaya

Thepprasit Weekend Market is located in Thepprasit road, about 5 minutes away from Outlet Mall. The market covers an area of about 1 km.

This huge market has varieties of things. Their are nearly 500 shops selling watches, clothes, shoes, purses, sunglasses, night wear, mobile phones, men's wear, belts, decoration pieces, female accessories, pets, lingerie, electronics, etc.

All of the stuffs are at a very reasonable price when compare to department store.

Picture of Thepprasit Market

Just like any other markets in Thailand, Thepprasit Market is not the place for branded stuff. You can find a lot of replica goods that are made locally or made in China.

Sample prices of products on sale in Thepprasit Market

  • T-Shirt - 199 - 350 Baht
  • Watch - 100 - 3,000 Baht (Some of Rolex replicas are on the higher end of the price mentioned)
  • Female footwear - 200 - 450 Baht
  • Children wear - 150 -300 Baht
  • Female bags - 199 - 300 Baht
  • Belts - 50 - 250 Baht
  • DVD - 150 Baht

After shopping here for a while it can be quite tiring, perhaps you would fancy eating Thai food. There are food joints that sell normal Thai food like noodles, pad thai, sausages, etc.

How to get to Thepprasit?
If you are planning to take a baht bus or bike just tell the guy "Pai Talad Thepprasit". "Pai" - means Go, "Talad" means Market". To hire a baht bus or motorbike from South/North/Central, the fare is roughly about 50-60 Baht.

Thepprasit Market is open at 7pm until 10pm, only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
